First & Last Disney Princesses

Generations of girls have grown up with the Disney Princesses. When they were little girls, they all imagined their own gowns, cast their own spells, and accomplished heroic feats. Older generations may be most bonded to the classic Disney Princess movies like Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs and Sleeping Beauty. For the youngest generation, some of their first movie-going experiences may be watching the magic of new classics like The Princess And The Frog or Tangled.

The very first Disney Princess movie captivated audiences in 1937. Snow White's lovely, high voice gave her spirit, and a dashing prince made her a beloved heroine. Songs like "Whistle While You Work" and "Someday My Prince Will Come" are still loved by countless children and their parents and grandparents alike.

Over the years, Snow White gained many princess friends as new Disney Princess movies were added to the collection. Soon, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, and Jasmine were royalty alongside Snow White. Later, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, and Tiana joined the growing court of Disney Princesses.

In 2010, we met the latest princess, Rapunzel from Tangled. This last Disney Princess movie introduced a stunning princess and her long, flowing hair into the Disney family. This modern classic is sure to be held dear for generations to come in the same way that Snow White, Cindrella, Aurora, and others have been celebrated down through the years.

Whether you want to hop on a flying magic carpet with Jasmine, explore a whole new world with Pocahontas, or swim to the depths of the ocean with Ariel, the Disney Princess Movie Club will transport you to the fantastic world of your favorite characters starring in the Disney Princess movies on DVD.
